Thank you Washington and Lee Community Grants Committee for awarding Rockbridge Animal Alliance and Cats Unlimited $1,000 for our low-cost spay/neuter programs!
These dogs were fixed thanks to generous support from Two Mauds, Inc. Thank you to the board in honor of Dr. Dallas Pratt, who wanted the foundation to support innovative programs that directly prevent or alleviate the suffering of animals and that are carried out by smaller organizations, just like RAA!
Rockbridge Animal Alliance, Cats Unlimited and Gidgets Promise K9 Rescue had a lovely day at Herman’s Produce today! We made some new friends, saw some old ones, gave out some prizes, collected cans for cats and shared info on each our programs and adoptable animals- the whole time surrounded by gorgeous flowers and fresh produce.
RAA has been awarded a $1,000 grant to offer low-cost spay/neuter through the On Shore Foundation! Grant funding allows us to subsidize the cost of spay/neuter services for low-income pet owners.
With help from generous grant funding through the Two Mauds Foundation, we have fixed 137 dogs through our low-cost spay/neuter program for dogs in Rockbridge County, Buena Vista and Lexington City.
We saw some old friends and made some new ones at Tractor Supply on Saturday along with Cats Unlimited and Gidget’s Promise K-9 Rescue!
Rockbridge Animal Alliance was featured in the February 1, 2017 edition of The News-Gazette! (Typo- our grand total of dogs fixed for 2016 was 90 dogs).
